Zoe Kornberg (Editor-in-Chief) is a junior enrolled in the public health major. Originally from the Bay   Area, Zoe was brought up in a politically active community and family. She credits her high school, which emphasized public service and awareness of global affairs, with her interest in policy and people. In high school, she was the editor-in-chief of the “unsponsored” newspaper and is proud to be the editor-in-chief of The Smart Ass this year as it takes to the internet for the first time since it’s inception in 1996. Her motto is “It takes a village,” which applies to both her view on how to solve collective action problems and on how to get The Smart Ass done.
